I was looking for a rental to relax in, as I recovered from my surgery. When I saw this home on VRBO, I knew it was the one. Check in was suppose to be at 4, but I received a message from Vacation Homes letting me know that I can check in at 1. YAY!!!!!
When I walked in, It immediately felt like home. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this home.

Gostaria de expressar minha total satisfação a essa residência que deixará saudades, achamos melhor que nas fotos, fiquei com minha família 21 dias e amamos tudo, limpeza, organização, facilidade do check in e checkout, todos os parques de 10 a 15 min de carro e tudo perto tudo mesmo.

A piscina e o lago é um espetáculo a parte, que coisa linda para tirar umas fotos.

Algumas sugestões pq nada é perfeito, a poda das plantas na porta da entrada, as folhas que caem das árvores na porta da garagem e panos de louça.

We enjoyed our stay at Blue Ridge Retreat, good location in a quiet neighborhood. Publix store is not far away. And also a short drive to Longhorn steak restaurant. Gatorland and Florida Mall. The house is clean and in a pretty good condition. We will stay again

Location was really good and house format was good though there are some miner fixes needed: 1. Dryer vent was clogged. 2 large stove burners do not work. 3 no hot water in bathroom sinks though showers okay. 4. 2nd bathroom sink drain stop does not work. 5. Bed headboards in two bedrooms not attached. With these fixes would stay there again.

Originally, I was disappointed with the property as the grass was very overgrown and the bushes as well. The decor is outdated and drab, the furniture is old and low quality. Also, there was a paper plate in the pool along with tortilla chips. The light in the middle bedroom was out because the pull string was broken and the guest tub had damage as well. I tried contacting the office several times but could not get through to an actual person. I finally resorted to an email to “Excellent Vacation Homes” which was not responded to. The positive aspects were the cold AC and the inside of the house was clean.

House was very clean, had all the needed towels etc, had all tyhe kitchen items as well. Pool was very clean and refreeshing. A call to the management team resulted in a very quick fix to a small problem, within an hour.

The house definitely needs extreme cleaning starting with the entrances. when opening the door the house had a bad smell, sheets and pillows also smelled bad, cobwebs on the walls and spiders in the bathtub. Definitely for the money that is paid for cleaning they need to change the employee. Thank God I brought my sheets and towels because I was disgusted to use the ones from home.

The house was perfect for our 5 day stay in Orlando. Our day started with coffee overlooking our pool and the lake a few feet past the yard. And About 15 minutes from Disney!!

overall good experience however house needs some upgrades e.g beds, sliding glass, tv and deep cleaning.
Also we had to wash all bedsheets and pillow cases as they smelled like sweat

This was a very basic and dated rental but it was perfect for our needs - Single parent driving kids to several venues. The location was perfect for driving to Universal, the OCCC, Disney, the airport and the beaches and Kennedy Space Center were only 90 minutes away. The close proximity to Publix and Aldi was awesome for trying to feed 4 kids on a budget and still be able to spend at the parks. The pool was good for a dip but on the smaller side. We enjoyed our time at our “touch down” pad. Thank you!

My wife and I needed a long weekend getaway with warmer weather to just relax and de-stress. This home was perfect for what we needed and we enjoyed the pool VERY much. Next time we are in Orlando...definitely will reserve this home again!

Three friends and myself rented this very comfortable home to make our first trip to Daytona Bike Week. The house was very nice including everything we needed for an excellent vacation. this house went above our expectations and the company fulfilled every request we had asked for!

Nice home, roomy, better cleaning could be done as even my 6 year old pointed out the dirty window seals and the stained carpet. There's an odor to the house as well, we purchases Arm & Hammer carpet powder and that helped a lot.

Overall it was fine, would I stay there again? Probably not.

Nice place, very quiet relatively clean. Cooperation from the agent was very good over the phone with the only minor issue we experienced. Which was our fault we discovered. Overall a very good experience. Thank you.

We had a great time at the Blue Ridge Retreat. The screened pool was the highlight. It was clean, well cared for and the furniture comfortable. Generally the furniture was good and comfortable. Plenty of linens.

One exception were the beds in the front bedroom. We had to take the mattresses and box springs off each bed to attach the frames properly. The mattress and box springs were literally falling off the frames because the two cross pieces were not attached properly and were pulling apart from each other. In moving the beds, there was a fair amount of cobwebs, dust in the corners of the room and on the carpet which we had to clean. The headboards are not attached to the frames. They were just held up by the wall and the mattress/box springs.

Also we found hair in the master bath shower on arrival.

The kitchen was very well supplied and the plastic dishes were great to take out to the pool area. Of the 3 frying pans, only 1 was in good enough condition to use. Helpful to have a washer and dryer.

The vertical blinds could be updated. They were impossible to turn and open except for those at the sliding doors. We used only the right sliding door and it was very difficult to open and close. Two hands held on the frame was needed to open or close it.

None the less we enjoyed our stay.

This property is exactly as described! Location was excellent as it is central to all the things to do within the Orlando area. We forgot to bring our own towels and thank goodness this place was stocked with essentials. The next time we are in Orlando we will book this property again

The house has good bones but needs some serious maintenance and deep cleaning. The carpet needs to go. Vinyl slab would be great or a laminate. Things are just slowly deteriorating. It was not filthy on the surface and I felt comfortable cooking and showering. Just try not to look in the corners, under furniture and in between the beds and walls. The pool area was nice but again the area around the pool needs a good cleaning and some repairs to the screen. Good location and the rental process was easy and everyone I dealt with was very nice.

The 3 bedrooms are spacious as well and the 2 bathrooms are well equipped.
The kitchen is also very well equipped.

We had a good stay, the premise has a very good location with the required infrastructure, Walmart, Airport, parks etc. Enough space for 6-7 persons. The pool finish and the kitchen equipment was behind our expectation.

The house is an excellent value for extended stay guests such as ourselves. We rented the house for 12 days and were very satisfied with the overall experience (price, location, ameneties, etc.) This was a vacation/work getaway for me thus I relied heavily on the in home WIFI network. The network was able to handle my companies VPN connection without an issue as well as all the connected devices (phones, iPads,etc.). The house is situated close to the airport (less than 8 miles) as well as all the Orlando attractions. It's also close to several grocery stores, drug stores and numerous local and chain restaurants. Overall, we were very satisfied with the house.

Great location and access to parks and amenities. The house needs some updates. Air conditioning would freeze up under 74 degrees. The carpets were old and needed cleaning. The walls were clean, but had some old stains and needed painting.

The home is not bad, but the bed was uncomfortable, and the sheets did not smelled good, the house smells like there is a humidity issue.

b. Beyond the house there was no free covered place under the screen, so every rain came trough the screens and soaked all furniture outside

Overall the location of this property in Orlando was great. We were about 15-30 minutes from parks and attractions anywhere in Orlando and had quick access to lots of dinning options. The neighborhood was nice, and despite our intentions to bring the trash and recycling to the curb ourselves, someone kept magically doing it for us. The building was in good working order and having the laundry was a big help. Value wise this was a great choice for my wife and our traveling companion. We only needed 2 of the 3 bedrooms, but having the 2 bathrooms was great. It is a self-catered place, so we hit the Publix around the corner to stock up on laundry soap, dishwasher pods and other basics to have on hand. We made use of the full kitchen to do some baking and to make some nice meals. While overall the pace was clean, it could benefit from a deep clean at some point. The air registers,walls and some of the cookware hadn't seen a deep clean in a while by our assessment. The pool was a little chilly in early March, but it was nice just hanging by the pool and watching the birds over the pond. The garage was filled with a ping pong table, which I guess we could have moved if we wanted to drive in, but we chose to play ping pong and park in the driveway. I would recommend this property for any group planing a week or longer stay in the Orlando area.

Overall the location of this property in Orlando was great. We were about 15-30 minutes from parks and attractions anywhere in Orlando and had quick access to lots of dinning options. The neighborhood was nice, and despite our intentions to bring the trash and recycling to the curb ourselves, someone kept magically doing it for us. The building was in good working order and having the laundry was a big help. Value wise this was a great choice for my wife and our traveling companion. We only needed 2 of the 3 bedrooms, but having the 2 bathrooms was great. It is a self-catered place, so we hit the Publix around the corner to stock up on laundry soap, dishwasher pods and other basics to have on hand. We made use of the full kitchen to do some baking and to make some nice meals. While overall the pace was clean, it could benefit from a deep clean at some point. The air registers,walls and some of the cookware hadn't seen a deep clean in a while by our assessment. The pool was a little chilly in early March, but it was nice just hanging by the pool and watching the birds over the pond. The garage was filled with a ping pong table, which I guess we could have moved if we wanted to drive in, but we chose to play ping pong and park in the driveway. The rental process was fine. I was just disappointed upon entrance to the home. The walls were dirty, the master bathroom tub had a slow drain. The pool was looks like it needs to be resurfaced. Then if you leave more than a bag of trash they say inform you of a $45 charge for more trash. The light that is on the front of the house keep coming on and off even if you were standing out front. Light fixtures had burn stains and plugs didn't work. I have stay in much nicer units than this one.

2 improvenents could give more comfort in and around the house:
a. In the main bathroom there was a verey good shower with good warm water. In the washing stand was no warm water, even not after 10 minutes streaming.
b. Beyond the house there was no free covered place under the screen, so every rain came trough the screens and soaked all furniture outside

We took our parents back to the Orlando area after moving away 45 years ago. We needed a central location to revisit all of our childhood places of interest in a home that would accommodate the family. The home was spacious and well laid out. We liked the convenience of nearby restaurants and a nice supermarket when we did not want to eat out. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the pool after sightseeing all day. We stayed in the villa for 2 weeks and it was perfect for our needs. It is in a great location with everything really close by. The aircon was a godsend as it was very humid for the first week. It could have been a bit cleaner though. The sofas were dirty with biscuits and rubbish underneath the cushions and the bedspread in the main bedroom had crusty white stains on also the pool deck could've done with a jet wash.That said, I would definitely stay there again and I would recommend it.

When we arrived the house was clean and well kept. The pool was perfect and everything was exactly what we expected. We did not have to call management a single time. 10/10 would rent again.

We loved the house!! It was perfect for what we needed. There were two pieces of the blind in the master room and one piece in the living room that were fallen off. We were caught off guard when the pool man came the clean the pool, we werent aware that he was coming. Otherwise everything was great, the location was great and we enjoyed ourselves! We will definitely look to rent again!

Biggest issue was not having hot water,, nice big tub but unable to use as water temp was not adequate.
Blinds need to be replaced, they constantly fell when used, no matter what I did.

I would recommend this home to anyone. My family could not believe the price I paid, less than a hotel room per night.

I stayed for two weeks and in the two weeks I only had issue with the pool light which they fixed right away. The only suggestion to the managers is to place two floodlights one in the front may on top of the garage door and another one in the back in the yard it gets very dark in both places. Otherwise you have to keep in mind is a vacation rental so for the price, size, and location is simple unbeatable.
