Description

This Excellent Vacation Home is of the Excellent Deluxe category. The villa is situated on Santee Drive in the Indian Creek sub-division, Kissimmee, just off exit 64 of the Interstate 4 (I4) and SR429. It is therefore only minutes to the Walt Disney World (only 3 miles), Universal Studios and Sea World theme parks, plus some of the world’s best golf courses. This villa offers free high-speed internet (cable and Wi-Fi) plus free local and long-distance calling within the United States and Canada.

The villa has many extras to make your stay very enjoyable. It has been furnished to a very good standard. The great floor plan places the family room right in the middle of the kitchen, 4 bedrooms, game room and the pool area.

Upon entering the villa, on the left hand side, you will find the game room with Pool Table and Ping Pong. Facing this game room you will find the first bathroom with vanity, shower tub and toilet. To the right is the first bedroom with Queen Bed, cable TV and closet. To the left you will find another bedroom, this one with 2 Single Beds, cable TV and closet.

Walking straight ahead, you will find the large family room with sleeper sofa and plenty of seating space. It has a large flat screen TV with digital cable and DVD player. On the left you find another bedroom with 2 Single Beds, cable TV and closet. It has a bathroom right next to it with vanity, shower tub and toilet.

Last but not least, on the other side of the family room, there is the Master bedroom with Queen Bed, cable TV and en suite bathroom with dual vanity, bath tub, walk-in shower and separate toilet plus direct pool access. Direct pool access is a very convenient feature; step right from the pool deck into your bathroom for a quick shower after that refreshing swim.

The open, well fitted kitchen with a breakfast table (4 seats) is in the rear on the left. The kitchen includes a full size oven, built-in microwave, large fridge-freezer with ice-maker, waste disposal unit and dishwasher. There is also a full range of electrical appliances and utensils – everything you could want in your home away from home.

The inviting pool is accessible from the family room, through sliding patio doors. The whole pool area is screened in to keep the bugs out. Pool deck chairs and sun loungers allow for late night, pool side relaxing. The pool safety fence helps protect our youngest guests, together with the alarms installed on all doors leading to the pool deck. The pool can be heated, at an extra cost. As this property is Pet Friendly, there is even a doggy door leading to the area outside the pool deck.

Near the game room there is a laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Iron and iron board are present too.

As Excellent Vacation Homes is the local management company looking after this property 365 days a year, any technical or other issue is usually prevented before it even gets a chance to develop. But, our 24-hour cover service is always available should you require it during your stay. The villa is fully air conditioned for those very hot days and has reverse air for those colder days.

Pool heater was not working. Day 1 they said part was shipped elsewhere. Day 2 said maybe fixed over weekend. Day 6 of 11 finally confessed that part was not available. Provided a limited refund but not enough to offset the disappointment. Home was clean and at a great location.

Check in was easy and earlier than expected.
Overall house was clean but hair balls in the corners of the rooms.
Location is close to parks and restaurants.
Air conditioner and a fully functional pool is most important to us. Please...A pool skimmer is NEEDED on site. In 11 days the pool guy only came once and barely skimmed the top and ignored the bottom.
The house is older along with the furnishings, after all it is a rental. If I was staying a month or more than perhaps modern furniture/conveniences may be important,however the house is functional.
This is our second time renting here for us and our pets.
We did have some issues at the house which got addressed, I'm sure they'll be taken care of by the time of our third stay.

Absolutely beautiful home. It was inviting and clean. The beds though were super uncomfortable.. really hard. Everyone had a hard time sleeping for our 11 day stay. Other than that— the pool was great and we had an overall good stay.

The house was perfect for our needs! Being able to take our dogs with us was essential for our Disney trip. The house was definitely dog friendly. The yard was perfect, the fence was dog-proof, and there is even a little doggie door from the patio to the yard. The house was a great size with plenty of rooms and beds. We loved the garage game room. It was chilly for the pool, but there is an option for heating. The house is about 15 minutes from the Disney parks and near lots of food and shopping, but in a great neighborhood. The only issues were that the floor was dirty when we arrived. It had not been cleaned well at all and I had to sweep every room that night. The couch was also dirty and either needs to be deep cleaned or replaced. You can definitely tell it is dog-friendly, so some extra cleaning is necessary to get rid of the dog smell and look. Overall, we would come back for sure. Just a little extra cleaning would be nice.

Our experience was peaceful. Not being theme park people (we were there for a dog sport), we found ourselves spending most of the time at the house. The house is very spacious, the outdoor pool is lovely, quiet neighborhood. The company is extremely responsive and the customer service is excellent. I gave 4 stars for overall satisfaction because (1) the master bed is extremely firm - to the point that it was very uncomfortable and (2) I felt more the house could have better stocked - one roll of paper towels, even for 2 people, is not sufficient. The supplies included with the house was a bit sparse.

The house is so close to what we needed. It's a very comfortable place and spacious. The pool was the biggest hit at the home and was refreshing. We liked the house and it's location so we decided to book again for 2024! Checking in was a breeze but most importantly anytime I had a question REM always responded very quickly and was courteous. The house is in a great location but needs a little TLC. Furnishings (mattresses) need to be replaced as well as the outdoor furniture. We we unable to use the backyard for our dog because it never got mowed for the two weeks we were there. Not sure what pest was in the grass but you couldn't walk on it at all.

How was advertised as 9 minutes from Disney World first of all the fastest I got from Disney to the house was 40 minutes!!! It’s only a few miles away, but the traffic is unbelievable! There was a lot of mold coming out of the A\C vents! & the mattresses were so uncomfortable, especially in the master was hard and dented in felt like you were sleeping in an angle. I had to find another bedroom to sleep in.! The whole house had a light smell of what I would describe as a foot odor! There was minimal toilet paper, paper towels, and only one bag was allotted for the garbage which we had to go buy our own toilet paper and trash bags! It was not cheap to stay here. I expected a lot more.!! we had a dog and it was dog friendly. That would be the only reason I would stay here!

We stayed here for our Disney Vacation. 5/8-5/13 the house was clean, and the location was pretty good overall. As far as the BEDS please replace as they are the worst we have ever had to sleep on!! Also, if you have a pet property you need a working mop and scooper to clean up after pets. You have broken items which need replacing. I would recommend that you update the household furniture is worn out. We go on vacations a lot and I would not rebook this house without the needed updates.

We had a not so magical experience last year when staying at a Disney resort so this year we decided to stay off campus, let me tell you it was amazing. We have a 4yo who needs to decompress after being at Disney and this was the perfect place to do that. We also have 2 dogs that we love to travel with and the fenced in back yard was perfect for them, the lab could fit through the doggie door, however our German Shepherd could not. The layout of the house was amazing. The cleanliness, heated pool, and lanai were very enjoyable, nice, and comfortable. It was about a 10-15 minute drive due to traffic to Magic Kingdom entrance, but very well worth it. We will definitely be back!

This property was described as a "Pet-friendly home" and it absolutely was! We found this rental to be very spacious and comfortable. The outdoor area (including the pool) was a great space to relax with our furry friends after a day at the parks. Also, communication with the property management was easy via email and we received very prompt responses. Our family would definitely stay at this house on our next visit to the area.

We had a nice stay! The pool was nice and so was the home. Excellent Vacation Rentals was very responsive and great to deal with. I was happy to see a Keurig in the kitchen :) The living room sofa probably should be replaced at some point due to sinking when sitting on it. Great place to stay other than that!

This house was well maintained. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and had the needed essentials. The high ceilings and all-on-one-floor configuration were great for our family of five. The kitchen had everything we needed. The screened in porch and pool were a super benefit! Overall, it was a fantastic house that we would stay at again.

We were visiting Disney World and it was an easy drive to the parks from this house.

Lovely house and great for dogs. One minor issue with pool heating but it was promptly addressed by the management once we informed them. Great location for Disney World. A bit of a drive for Universal due to traffic and road construction but there’s not much you can do about that.

The rental was very dirty. I reported the issue when we first got there but didn’t want cleaners coming in because we had so much going on that weekend. The lights didn’t work. The fans didn’t work. The temote controls were missing. There were lizards and bugs in the bathtub. The furniture was very cheap and falling apart. It was a pretty bad experience

We had a wonderful two weeks in this lovely villa, and yes going with other reviews the pool and some areas inside could perhaps do with a deeper clean once in a while if the time allows between bookings, but this is just as you do in your home, give a spring clean now and again. Overall this was a lovely villa a home from home and in fact the fridge, cooker and microwave were spotlessly clean on our arrival, I have no complaints at all.

I’ve stayed in better, but I’ve stayed in worse.
The good: The location was great, it was very convenient to Disney, restaurants and there is a Walmart close by. I had to call the office Saturday because of a problem with the tv, the lady I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. It was nice to bring our dog and the fenced backyard was wonderful. The backyard was large, my dog enjoyed running around outside. The heated pool was an extra bonus.
The bad: The bed was very hard! The house really needs a deep cleaning. The knobs in the kitchen were a little dirty along with the doors. I swept the floor and under the tv stand I found French fries. The pool had a lot of dirt in it, it was never cleaned while we were there. The outdoor furniture was outdated and very worn.
I would definitely use excellent vacation homes again, I’m on the fence about the house.

We stayed at this pet friendly home for 1 mth. It was very clean, exactly as shown. Lots of room for everyone AND tons of storage space for clothing and grocery items. We had the pool heated, it was perfect from morning till night. The beds were a bit stiff, we didn’t mind, but if you like deep pocket comfy mattresses, these were not. A few small outdoor side tables were in bad shape, needed replacing & we sent a note to the mgt. company. Kris at the Vacation Rental company was fabulous to deal with. We had an issue with the smoke alarm beeping & we couldn’t reach it with the high ceilings. We called the mgt. co. on Presidents Day & they sent someone at our convenience that same day. With all the rentals in this neighbourhood, it was very quiet. There is a new Walmart about 1.5 miles away. Tons of restaurants, if you choose to eat out but very, very busy.......main roads are always slow & jammed with traffic. If you are planning a Disney vacation or just visiting this area for other activities, for the price, I would absolutely recommend renting this house.

We had a lovely stay in at his house. This was our 3rd visit to Orlando and by far the best house we have stayed in. The house was clean, had plenty of space for the 8 of us and had everything you could need for your stay. The location was excellent, just a few minutes drive to the 192 and Walmart ( these were actually within walking distance). There was also a large supermarket even closer along with a salon, and several restaurants. The drive to all of the theme parks was a dream and we could even see the Disney fireworks from the pool area. I would definitely recommend this house and hope to return myself in the future.

For the most part we were very happy with our rental home. Location was great, house was spacious and beautiful and the price was very reasonable. A few “suggestions” we’d make are to have a nice thorough cleaning done, a thicker curtain or maybe some shades on the window of the door that leads from the master bath to the back patio so that everyone on the back patio won’t have to see you naked when taking a shower, better mattresses (especially in the master bedroom) and maybe atleast one decent pot and one decent pan. We went to Walmart and bought one ourselves. Everything else about the home and our stay was wonderful and the staff was amazing! If I had any questions or concerns, Kris would answer or have it taken care of right away. We will definitely use Excellent Vacation Homes again and I have already passed on the information to rent with them to other family members.

Perfect place to stay with our family and pet. The home was very, very, very clean. I actually walked on the floor barefooted, which i never do in rentals. Only complaint would be the ceiling fan that couldn't be turned off in one of the bedrooms. Slightly problematic since there was a cold front passing through during our stay. The House was spacious and very clean. For a home that’s pet friendly it was a nice treat that the house didn’t smell of pets nor it had pet hair all over.
The kitchen was nicely equipped and we cooked most of our meals there.
We arrived about an hour prior to check in time and were allowed to come in. The people at the office were super friendly and helpful.
Definitely recommend and definitely would stay there again.

However, the cleaning job wasn’t great because one of the bathrooms smelled of urine and the other bathrooms shower had a black tinge. We enjoyed our stay at this home. House was clean when we arrived. Great location plenty of restaurants lose by. The fenced yard was great for our dog. We used the pool Every day it is a must to have the pool heated. We used it a lot the temp was a nice
88 degrees. Cooking utensils. Hold be updated and mr coffee machine could also use replacing, over on the pot itself was broke and needed to remember to pour carefully. Also some of the linens could be updated. The management company was very attentive. We
had a couple of bulbs burnt outa d the sent someone to replace them pronto. Also so one was sent over to repair tear in screen house door. Pool maintenance came Monday morning s to check water and clean and add chemicals. We were here a whole month and thoroughly

We rented this home for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. It is a perfect home to rent and is convenient to a lot of shopping and restaurants. It is also only 15 minutes to Disney. The yard is fully fenced with a vinyl privacy fence and has wire and big rocks around the bottom so there are no gaps for a dog to dig under the fence. We definitely hope to rent this place again! It was absolutely perfect for us. Unlike other reviews, we found the home to be spotless clean. The only small negatives we found were the pool light was not working and there was no speed adjustment on the fan in the master bedroom. I'd also suggest maybe adding blackout shades to the master bedroom. The windows get direct sun, and that room in particular gets fairly warm during the day. It would also be nice for your guests with pets, to provide lawn maintenance and pool maintenance schedule during their stay so there is no chance of the dogs being out in the yard when someone comes by to work on the house. (This issue did not occur during our stay, but we were always very vigilant when we had our dogs out in the yard since we didn't know if someone would be coming by.) The home was very clean and nice. It was perfect for our family of four plus three fur babies. The neighborhood was excellent along with location. There was plenty of room for everyone. The pool was very clean compared to some homes we have stayed in. The only thing I would recommend to the owner to provide is lighting for the backyard especially taking your animals out to potty. I had to use my light on my cell phone for them to feel comfortable going in the backyard. Also, the ceiling fan in the master bedroom would not go no higher than low so we purchased a nice fan to run while staying.

We just wanted to get away for a few days. My daughter has been teaching 3rd grade online and needed a break. We brought our dogs, and just enjoyed hanging out. The pool and fenced yard were great. We had food delivered and ate by the pool.
We would love to come back when we could go shopping and eat out. Every shop and restaurant you can imagine is very close on 192. The house is large and comfortable and is definitely set up as a vacation home. The only downside is the appliances are dated, but everything works. They say it is selfcatering and they do not furnish anything that is consumable other than toilet paper and little soaps. There are no tissues, no dish soap, no shampoo or condiments. Just a little salt and pepper and coffee filters.
This is fine as long as I can plan ahead. We really enjoyed our stay and will return when we can get out more.

Overall, pretty well equipped but only 1 teaspoon in the kitchen! Lol It is hard to keep things from “walking away” in a rental, so no big deal. Lovely neighborhood to walk, and our dogs loved it! The heated pool felt fabulous and the fenced yard was a huge bonus for us. We would definitely consider staying here again.

The proximity to the Disney entrance is what brings us back to 8065 Santee. You can be at the parking lot in 10 minutes from the driveway. The back yard is great for small dogs and the pool is nice. We spent three weeks in the house in July 2013. The house is easily accessible from the MCO airport and main highways, making it a great vacation place for visiting central Florida and nearby attractions. The neighborhood feels safe and peaceful, no sound of passing traffic etc. Our family consists of two adults and two kids and we found the house to be safe and it offered plenty of space. The house was clean upon arrival and all linens and kitchen utilities were flawless. We had also ordered a gas grill from the management company which was delivered as ordered. The pool area is clean and well protected against kids falling accidentally in. The lanai keeps bugs out of the deck area. All rooms in the house have ceramic tiles on the floors, this is great instead of having traditional wall to wall carpets.

Publix and Super Target grocery stores are located about three miles away and the area around Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway has plenty of offering regarding shopping and restaurants. Access to the theme parks, Orlando Premium Outlets and other Malls is quick due to the nearby freeways.

The whole rental process and communication with the management company has been great and well organized. I can truly recommend this house and the services provided by Excellent Vacation Homes.

We were a family of 10 people. We really enjoyed our stay in the villa. The villa was well equipped and we did not miss anything. Once during our stay we called for assistance and the management responded immediately to our request. We had no previos experience with the rental firm and we were happy that the check in procedure worked since we arrived in the middle of the night. Also the payment and reservation procedure was well organized and transparent. The location was great with conveniant access to the major theme parks and nearly equal distance to the east and west beaches. We appreciated the quiet street with very little traffic. All in all we very much appreciated our stay in the villa.

Staying at 8065 Santee Drive was a very beautiful experience. The house very well kept, very clean and well equipped. My kids loved the private pool. The personal from Excellent Vacation Homes were very helpful and very nice to deal with.
I would definately give them a thumbs up and looking forward to staying there again.

We have a wonderful two week stay at this well equipped villa (left are stroller for future guests). We ( 4 adults & 4 children aged 2,4,6&6 ) were pleasantly surprised when we arrive how big the villa is, pictures do not do it justise. The villa's decore is not to everyone's taste but it was very clean ( no hint that animals had ever stayed ) all appliances were easy to use. Our children enjoyed playing in the pool area, which was sunny from early till around 7:30pm. All the Children slept well in their comfy beds, double beds were comfortable but noisy. Couldn't pick a better location for visiting disney parks, it took us no more than 12 minutes to reach disney car parks. We would recommend this villa to friends and family and be very confident they would not be disappointed. Thanks

This home is in a quiet location.
We enjoyed our stay.
Only a few minutes to shopping or restaurants.
We think the living room furnishing could be updated , we had to run the dishwasher 3 times to get the dishes cleanand we had phone calls from creditors for the homeowner. We have never had anything like that happen before.

Exceptional place to see. Hard to believe that people are renting house that quality. Everything was perfect as described on the site and much more.All the informations we needed were accessible, the tables in the kitchen were already set and there also was a welcome goodie!

We had a pleasant surprise with this house. We were looking for a house big enough to accommodate 6-7 elderly and one handicapped woman. This house not only was comfortable enough for all of us but it also had the necessary handicapped accessories (such as toilet rail, shower chair and even a wheel chair). The location to everything was a big plus. We would definitely recommend it to others looking for a good size house, well maintained and accessible to everything from entertainment to shopping. Thank you so much for all of your help.

This is the second time that we have used Excellent Vacation Homes for a vacation rental and we were not disappointed. The home was very clean and supplied us with a the comforts of home. The kitchen was well supplied with all kinds of cooking utensils, pots and pans. The furniture in the living room was very comfortable. The home is in a perfect location and made it very easy to get to Disney which was only minutes away. They are plenty of restaurants in the area as well as grocery stores and gift shops.

We really enjoyed our week on Santee Dr. The house was impeccably clean and the pool warm when we arrived. We had a small maintenance issue (light out on the lanai) that was taken care of immediately.

We had everything we needed to cook and enjoyed the fenced in yard with our family dog.

We would definitely recommend the house. I can't wait to go back!

The house was great. Pool was great. Everything was good. Only complaint , there needs to be dish rags and dish towels. If there were some, we didnt find them. Other than that it was totally awesome. Had a great time at Universal and Downtown Disney

Very nice house. Great location. Much bigger then the pictures made it look. The beds were a little uncomfortable just to firm for my liking. The only issue that we really had was that we paid for the pool to be heated and the heater was broken so it was not heated the first couple of days but they did fix and and refunded some of the money. It was a great first trip to Florida with the family

THIS PROPERTY WAS VERY GOOD IT JUST NEED A COUPLE OF MINOR JOBS AND IT WOULD BE A PERFECT 5 NEEDS BEHINE BEDS AND CUPBOARDS SWEEPT , THE TWIN BEDROOM ON THE RIGHT OF ENTRY IS VERY HOT AND HOT ALL DAY NEED WINDOW TREATMENT CANNOT HAVE THE FAN ON MAKES A LOUD NOISE THE WINDOW IN THE KITCHEN ON THE OUTSIDE NEEDS A GOOD WASH[ ITS GREEN ]AND THE LOUNG IS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE [SORRY]BUT SAYING I WOULD THROUGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY VERY CLOSE THE THE PARKS ,GROCERY SHOPPING .AND DINNING AND YES I WOULD RENT THIS PROPERTY AGAIN AND RECOMMEND TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS THANKS YOU 'CHARLIE'

House was in a great location. We were there only for 3 days, Tuesday - Friday. We paid to have the pool heated and wished that it was heat at night, since we were at Disney during the day.

We stayed 6 weeks with 4 adults and our two dogs. The place was nice and after we got a few minor issues resolved the stay was very enjoyable. W have never been in a home with such a well equipped kitchen complete with very nice pots and pans. Made eating in a real treat to eat in. The pool area could stand a good power washing and the cleaning crew should mop the tile floors rather than using a sweeper, but all in all it was a very pleasant stay. We will return, and you should rent it too. The management company was second to none and addressed our needs immediately upon being notified.

From beginning to end, my family had a very pleasurable experience. Booking was simple, instructions for access were easy, the home was spacious and pretty. We placed a maintenance request for 2 things. All work was completed quickly and professionally. Our family vacation was wonderful-the home with private pool made it even better. I expected a better gameroom, but it was ok. We are planning our 2nd trip next year and look forward to staying in one of these homes again. Excellent property with lovely pool and games room. The only criticism would be that the bed linen and towels need replacing. Excellent Vacation Homes provided superb prompt service and rang us when promised. I would definitely book this vacation home again, or an alternative if it was serviced by Excellent Vacation Homes.

Perfect location for a multi family vacation; convenient location to the parks and Disney Springs, there's a grocery store right around the corner as well as multiple restaurants. The house was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The safety fence around the pool was great considering we had toddlers in the house. The oven/stove wasn't working when we arrived, but one call to the management company and they took care of it the same day. The trash bins were full when we arrived on Sunday, we put them out on Monday as instructed. Unfortunately, by the time we were ready to leave on Saturday morning the bins were full (not our doing); not sure if the trash company did not pick them up on Monday or if somebody else in the neighborhood utilized our bins. The property itself was acceptably clean and all the instructions for our stay were in an easy to read and navigate binder, plus there were chocolates waiting for us when we arrived!

After a terrible lets get the vacation started.... we arrived at this wonderful house with the pool already heated and ready to jump in, The wonderful ladies from Vacation Rental gave excellent direction from the airport and a wonderful list of items we would probable like to pick up before arrival.. Easy access to stores, restaurants, and all things our grandchildren wanted to do. Had a book on the coffee table with helpful companies around this location to help make our stay easier. Plenty of towels. The only problem was kitchen items were a little all over the place and it had a wonderful kitchen so you had to look everywhere in order to locate items.... have already recommended this company and property to my friends. Will definitely call again.

You can believe the pictures. The Villa was nice and clean. Everything worked properly. We paid extra for the pool to be heated and was that money well spent. The weather was a little cool, but we enjoyed the pool immensely.

The villa is only a 10 minute drive from Disney. Loved how close we were to the parks. Its a 5 minute drive to supermarkets, restaurants and stores. The villa was clean and had everything that we needed. Pool was fantastic and enjoyed by all of us. LOVED that it was pet friendly my dogs had a good vacation. Quiet neighbourhood. I would stay here again and would recommend it to friends.
